"As a regional sales manager I travel all over eastern NC. I have had interest in purchasing a new HD for the past couple of years. "I've been a customer for about 2.5 years now and CCHD continues to provide me with great service and customer satisfaction. When I arrived in the area with my Harleys, I'd been having some ongoing problems with my '05 Road King that my dealer in MD just could not seem to diagnose or correct. Upon my first visit to CCHD for the initial NC State inspection, I had asked for the bike to be gone over thoroughly and correct anything found wrong. WOW, what a night and day difference after that service. My Road King was performing like it never had before. Within the past year, the bike developed a hesitation problem and it was a real concern while up at high altitudes in the western U.S. Prior to my annual 10K mile trip this year, I put the bike in for service and worked with Ben and the Service Team to try and diagnose/correct this problem. Kudos and many thanks to Ben and the Service Team, as they were diligent and methodical in working the problem and through a series of adjustments/settings/programming and magic dust, got the problem corrected. I just returned from my annual 10K mile ride around the continent with my buddies and the Road King performed flawlessly. From the time I left my driveway, till I returned some 20 days later, my Road King rumbled like a Harley should and rode smooth as glass the entire trip. Even my buddies with their '06/'08 model HD's commented on how well the Road King was performing. Thank You CCHD! "Ben Johnson and the Service Department saved my June 2009 vacation. My 2008 Screamin Eagle Ultra had developed a frequent hesitation at all speeds, which my home dealer was unable to diagnose or correct. 800 miles from home Carolina Coast found and fixed the problem (broken wire under intact insulation causing faulty temperature readings to go to the sensor!). "On March 5th, I was on my way from Va. Beach to Myrtle for a little spring vacation. Just outside Wilmington, my 2001 Sportster trike broke down and it was towed to your dealership.
Everyone at CCHD was great. They took the time to look at my trike, and even contacted my dealership in Va. Beach, to see if they would let them do the repairs under my warranty. While I waited for my ride (and tow) home, the staff treated me like family. They were more than kind and even invited me to sit in on their hog meeting that evening so I wouldn't have to wait outside.
Thank you for making what was an overall lousy day, a little bit brighter. The next time I get down to Wilmington, I'm definitely stopping back in."

"This probably is not your normal testimonial. It is not a testimonial that is written immediately after the purchase of Harley-Davidson bike. This particular testimonial is being written one year and eight months, almost two years, after the purchase of my Harley-Davidson Softail Deuce! It is rather easy to compose a positive testimonial right after the puchase of a H-D bike, but, to even 'want to' submit a testimonial almost two years following the purchase should really tell the prospective buyer that Carolina Coast is "first class" in every respect! Even now when I go back to CCHD for a tee shirt or some accessory, I get the same feeling that I did when they pretty much knew that I was going to buy a new 2007 bike! Nothing has changed. I still get the same 'warm feeling' of being 'cared about' when I enter the Carolina Coast Harley Davidson dealership.
Jeff Granato is a super-nice and genuine person. He sold me my bike, and if I purchase another H-D, it will be Jeff that makes the sale to me. You absolutely could not ask for a salesperson that actually genuinely cares for you both as a customer and as an individual. His attitude and demeanor permeate the entire CCHD dealership!
I am sorry that this is so long, but, I simply felt that I should say to any prospective buyer of a H-D bike, you really could not ask for a better dealership than CCHD. They have demonstrated to me that they do really care about their customers.

"GREAT JOB!!!
My thanks go out to Josh in sales and Tom in the shop. They both saved my girlfriends and my Myrtle Beach bike week trip.
On the way back home from Myrtle on Sunday May 18th my bike dumped all but a half quart of oil at my feet. This happened south of Wilmington. After calling H.O.G. roadside assistance I was taken by a rollback to the dealership. Arriving there I was told that there were no mechanics on duty. While deciding what our next step would be Josh came over to see if he could help. After telling him what had happened he told me that he would make a phone call for us and see what he could do. He had called Tom who is a mechanic at the shop. Once he told Tom what had happened Tom arrived within the hour. He took one look at the bike and said that he thought he knew what had happened. An honest oversight by the mechanic that did my 30,000 mile service at my home dealership. An hour later I was back on the road.
Tom thank you again for coming in on your time. This is truely why Harley owners are not only owners they are a brotherhood.

"I have stopped at bike shops looking for a deal (steal) on a used Harley. I have stopped at Carolina Coast a few times, but I found nothing I could afford. A couple days before Christmas my wife was in my truck with me and I told her lets stop in and see what kind of deals they have, she said ok. We had been praying for another bike for 4 years, having been riding for 20 + years. A salesman asked if he could help us, I told him we were just looking. I have rode a dresser most of those years past so I wanted something sporty. There was the most beautiful pacific pearl blue Road King 07 sitting on the floor. My wife looked good on it, I was comfortable on it. Both of us really liked the bike. Josh must have seen the disappointment on our faces. He said he could put us on it. We told him our credit was bad from the old days. He told us he would run the numbers. Josh told us to see what accesories we wanted to add. After a few minutes he told us we could be out of the door in 15 minutes on a brand new 2007 pacific pearl blue Road King. My wife and I talked about it and prayed and said if the Lord made a way we would take it. My wife was almost in tears and I was totally speechless. Josh helped us with everything, insurance, payments, accessories. I have rode this bike over a year now, over 16000 miles. The road hazard insurance that Josh convinced me to get has been a blessing. The service department is top notch, the parts department are patient and friendly. Josh has been more than just a salesman but also a friend. I recommend all the people I talk to, to Carolina Coast, whether it's a new Harley, used, parts or service. I have been to Harley Davidson shops around the country and I must say that Carolina Coast Harley Davidson is the best! "I had planned on my purchase before coming in and had already decided on model, color, and accessories. With that info in hand I was going to shop Carolina Coast HD along with several other dealerships in this state and down at Myrtle Beach.
Jeff Granato introduced himself to me and asked if I was looking for a bike. Handing him my list I told him yes and that was what I was looking for. I also told him I was shopping several dealerships. Jeff was just great. Even though I told him up front I was looking at (and named) other dealerships he treated me from the start as if I were his only customer and that I was buying from CCHD.
I wanted a black FXDL and there was not one at CCHD. He took me over to meet TJ in the parts department and while TJ was looking up my add on's Jeff excused himself to see if he could find the bike I wanted nearby. TJ was very helpful. As he was looking up what I had selected he also pointed out some possible changes to my options to help give the bike a uniform design. The parts he showed me were at the same price just a different look and the fact was he was right. I was impressed with that because his extra work did not increase the cost to me. Many places would just sell you what you asked for and not take the time to understand what you were trying to do and help you improve upon it. TJ listed the parts and printed out and estimate for cost and labor. By this time Jeff was back and stated he found the bike in Fayetteville and could have it in a day or two. He asked TJ for a copy of his estimate and in less than 15 minutes had a quote on paper for me. He told me he hoped that CCHD would be my choice, gave me his card and asked if I had any questions. There was never any sales pressure put on me. Jeff just simply said let him know if I decided to get the bike from CCHD.
The wife and I talked about it over night and I decided the CCHD price was fair. I can't tell you if I would have made a better deal at another dealership because I did not go to one. The fact that Jeff and TJ were so customer oriented, helpful, and did not apply any pressure whatsoever meant a great deal to me. I have been in the service industry for 36 years and service means a great deal to me! I was looking at what is it going to be like after I get the ride and they had shown me it was going to be exceptional.
I called the next day and told Jeff to get the bike. It was at CCHD in a couple days and the day after that it was ready to be picked up. And the service part started right at that call.
Jeff asked where I would be getting my insurance and I told him I would get it from the person that had been handling my car insurance for years. Jeff then stated they offered insurance at really good rates and suggested I get a quote from my company and let them compare. Thank you Jeff, I did that and it saved me $200 a year! It seems my company would only do a policy for 6 months and at CCHD I could get a 12 month policy. The exact same coverage from CCHD was $200 less than the same length of coverage from my company. Brittany Mathews took all my info over the phone and gave me my quotes. When I came in to pick up the bike I was in and out of her office in less than 15 minutes. Thanks for your help Brittany and thanks for the savings!
I apologize for not remembering everyone that I met and assisted me. I spent a great deal of time gearing up with helmets and other stuff and was again treated like I was the only customer in the place. Also, after the sale I was escorted around the store meeting everyone in every department and also into the garage to meet the guys that work on the rides.
Bottom line. CCHD is five star plus from front to back, top to bottom. I highly recommend CCHD to anyone looking to buy a Harley Davidson, have their current HD worked on, or if you have a need for accessories, bike or personal. Again, thanks to all at CCHD for making this purchase a real event!"

I had been looking for one for several months, and no dealership had one that I could even sit on to try, much less take home with me. "This past Saturday afternoon 3/3/07 my girlfriend and I set out to Myrtle Beach just to look at V-Rods. We had seen some on the road and on the internet but, never had a chance to really look one over. All we really wanted to do was kick some tires, look at the new changes for 2007, and maybe sit on a bike to see how it felt. After going to two differnt H-D shops I was starting to think that maybe we were shopping for the wrong kind of bike. At the first shop not one sales person could be found and at the second shop they just stood there and looked at us like we had no reson to be there. After calling a friend and telling her what had happened, she told us about Carolina Coast Harley. We desided that we would only have about ten minutes to look because they would be closing but, we drove and hour just to see if we could look at one V-Rod. As soon as we walked in the door at Caroline Coast we were met by Jason Hearl and even though they were closed he stayed late just so we could spend some time asking him about the bikes they had in stock. After Jason had shown us all of the bikes that they had on the floor, he invited us back the next day so he could show us a V-Rod they had in the back. All we wanted to do was kick some tires so we would know what bike to buy in the fall, now here we are on Thuseday the owners of a 2003 V-Rod. The staff at Carolina Coast treated us like we had known each other for years, everyone was just so friendly and helpful. "On November 11, 2006, I purchased my "dream bike" from Jeff Granato, Sales Manager, at Carolina Coast Harley-Davidson. I had been talking with Jeff for quite some time prior to buying, and taking actual delivery of my new 2007 Softail Deuce. My purchase was not spontaneous. With Jeff's assistance, and patience, I did a lot of research before deciding on the Deuce. I would often go to Carolina Coast during my lunch break, after work, and on weekends, to just sit on, and "get the feel" of the different Softail models. Even on those occasions when Jeff was gone (or hiding from me so I wouldn't pester him further), the other members of the knowledgeable sales' staff were most courteous and helpful!
Not only was Jeff, and the entire staff at Carolina Coast H-D, great to work with before I purchased my new bike, they were there to continue to assist me after the sale was made. Everyone was just as kind and helpful after the sale as they were during the 'sale process'!

"I was in North Carolina on vacation June 23rd to July 8th, staying on Topsail Island. I stopped in to CCHD on July 3rd, to look around, pick up some souvenirs, and possibly talk to some one about how poorly my 2006 Heritage Classic was running. When i had my 1000 mile service done earlier this year, I had my dealer install Screaming Eagle pipes and a stage one intake kit. Of course, they also did a download, and had convinced me that I needed a race fueler to properly "tune" the components. When I got the bike back after almost two weeks, it wasn't running too great, but I wanted to ride, so I put up with it. On the trip from Kentucky to North Carolina, my brother was riding his new Road King, and was kicking my Classic's butt both on performance and fuel economy. When I noticed that CCHD had a dyno (my dealer didn't)I started talking to Brittany about possibly getting my bike in to see if they could get the race fueler dialed in so my bike would perform like it should. She referred me to Eric, the service manager, who took the time to listen to my story, and diagnose my problem on the spot. I brought it in two days later, and in only 4 hours, I picked up a bike that looked like the one I dropped off, but certainly didn't resemble it in the way it ran. The difference was astounding!! By removing the unnecessary race fueler, and insuring I had the proper download installed, my fuel economy on the trip home beat my mileage on the way down from Kentucky by 10 to 14 m.p.g. The best mileage I got on the way down was about 34 m.p.g. while the WORST I got on the way home was 44. The best was 48. Now there is no hesitation when I call for more power, just plenty of get up and go on tap in any gear. I have only one problem now. I'm going to be due for my 5000 mile service real soon, and I've got to figure out a way to get back down there to have it done. Thanks for the great work and quick turnaround. Thanks especially to Brittany, Eric, and J.D. and if I get back down that way anytime soon, lunch is on me.

"I started out just looking for the bike of my dreams and after looking at the HD web site I saw the new 2006 Night train with the 200mm tire. "My name is Hunter Rudd and one weekend, while visiting family in Wilmington in January 2006, I convinced my wife to let me stop by at CCHD. Sure enough we ran in not intending to just look but we met Jeff. He was very friendly and helpful in answering all our questions even after we told him that we weren't even thinking about getting a bike that day. Sure enough after answering all our question, showing us all kinds of bikes, and sharing his experiences we decided that this was the place to start our Harley Davidson experience. We could have chosen a number of other Dealerships, of which there are 6 which are closer, to start our H-D ownership experience but none matched the service and attitude of CCHD. Because of our experience with our local dealerships we will be making the trip back to Wilmington on our new Night Train to visit CCHD for service and our first genuine parts since there are by far the most reputable and respectible dealership that I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. "First, I would like to say not to many people buy a Harley and then trade 3 mos. later,but my brother in law has me beat . He traded 3 weeks. I own a 2005 Electric Glide Ultra Classic(Traded the 05 Wide Glide ) and he has a 2006 Heritage Softail Classic.(traded his 06 Sportster) We have been in the dealership so many times ,people begin to wonder if we work there. A special Thanks to Rob who had to do both deals along with Rick who put his stamp of approval.There is no reason to go anywhere else. These people take care of you.Eric does a great job with the service dept.,along with Tony and Keith on parts.John, glad to see another from Steeler country!!
